Duo Roldán was born in Milwaukee in the Spring of 2005. Its  founders Ana Ruth Bermudez, and Rene Izquierdo are native Cubans who studied at the “Amadeo Roldán” Conservatory of Music in Habana, Cuba, hence the duo's name in honor of the great Cuban musician.  After many years out of their homeland, these two gifted musicians found each other in Milwaukee, where they began to collaborate and perform, always inspired by their cultural identity, their natural ability to complement each other musically, and their willingness to bring to the stage a vast repertoire of classical and Latin American pieces.                 Duo Roldán with Friends http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zuV80pLQswQ
